SCS Local Comp at Pacific Edge on Saturday

Registration start time: 10 am

Climbing start and stop time: 1pm-5pm

Pricing: $30 for USA Climbing members / $35 for non-members

Format will be mix of bouldering and ropes

Belay testing available on day of comp.

WHAT: USAC SCS Local - Redpoint format top rope comp
WHERE: Studio Climbing, 396 S. 1st Street, SJ, 95113
WHEN: Saturday April 18th
COST: $30 with USAC# / $35 without

SCHEDULE:
9:00am - Registration opens
10:00am - Climbing begins
2:00pm - Climbing ends
2:45pm – Awards

There will be lead climbing available  but we will not be offering lead tests the day of the comp for belayers. We will allow competitors Youth B or older who are certified to lead by their home gym to lead climb and lead belay if they so choose but we cannot test any coach who is not already certified to lead belay through Touchstone to belay that day. Also, ropes will NOT be provided for lead belayers, You must bring your own rope.

We won't be requiring anyone who already has a valid waiver in our system to fill out another one but if they have not been to a Touchstone facility and want to fill it out online here is the link for that: https://touchstoneclimbing.com/waiver/

High Altitude Fitness Hosts Local SCS Competition

Incline Village, NV: High Altitude Fitness will host USA Climbing Sport Climbing Series (SCS) competition for the Northern California Region on April 11th at 10am Registration for the SCS Competition is at 9am; cost is $25. Climbing begins at 10am and awards take place at 2pm. Online pre-registration encouraged! Visit highaltitudefit.net to register online.
